Is it ok to remove the front and rear Volkswagen Phaeton W12's VW badge in exchange for Bentley badge?

Does that break the law if i remove the front and rear volkswagen Phaeton w12's VW badge in exchange for Bentley badge?|||It will still be a VW and you will look stupid.|||Once the car is yours, you can take a cutting torch to it. But putting a Bentley badge is only gonna fool air heads. Won't fool the insurance company, or the cops....that is why they ask for your reg. papers.|||Sure you could do that but be honest to yourself, many will just laugh at you saying that your trying to pose. If you have a Phaeton you have plenty of street cred.|||um you could do it. You wouldn't be breaking any laws. Just when people ask what kind of car it is don't lie. lol Most people can tell the difference.|||No but why? the Phaeton is a really cool car and as rare as the Bentley. Rock your V-Dub pride. Keep it on. Plus they're drastically different in appearance so no ones going to be fooled...|||I wouldn't do it. You're Phaeton is an awesome car. Why would you want to ruin it by trying to be something you're not?

Keep that VW badge.|||Well it might depend on where you get the Bentley Badges (grin).

No laws are broken. We used to swap Chevy and Ford emblems all the time.
