What do you think about the name Bentley?

My husband hates it. He thinks it sounds trashy. I love it, I think it's so cute. Opinions? Not looking for suggestions on other names. I have a whole list. Thanks.|||i love Bentley it's adorable. keep trying maybe he'll warm up to it|||I wouldn't call it trashy, but I wouldn't call it high-end either, I'd just say it's a name like Michael that sounds pretty 'socially neutral'. But it would be a bit on the downmarket end if you used a middle name like Kayden or Paxton, it should have a more traditional name to balance out.





I'd be more concerned about popularity though, every 10th Question in this section is pretty much a Bentley question at the moment lol.|||Its like the name Alexis. My daughters name is Alexis. And people say its a car name and i am pretty sure there is a car named Bentley. But you are the one who is carrying the baby for 9 months its up to you. But you dont want to make your hubby mad so that he calls the baby something other than his name. Maybe name him bentley but make up a nickname or use the middle name. Try another name that both of you agree on. Kinda shouldnt be up just him or just you though because it took both of you to have the kid. I picked my daughters name even though my x (we was broken up) wanted Serenity as the girl name and i also am picking out Aaliyah Brooklyn. ( i asked my hubby if he likes the name) i woulda picked even if he said no. LOL. but good luck.|||I think its cute although like someone else said it made me think of Maci from Teen Mom. But don't listen to negative feed back from others. Maybe you and hubby can compromise? He could pick a middle name. My husband and I did that for our 1st born, I picked 1st name he picked middle name. And we are doing the same for our 2nd child due June. So it reminds me of that, a gangly-legged frog with wire-rimmed glasses and a tie and vest... Really beautiful book, but I wouldn't use the name. Probably wouldn't, at least, especially because of the car.|||Girl, let me tell u something. I LOVE that name. It's sooo adorable. Your husband is just gonna have to deal. lol. It is modern and creative, without being too out there. A great nickname could be Ben, or Benny when he is little.Maybe you could use it at a middle name at least. damn that maci now everyone wants to name their baby Bentley|||It ranks right up there with the names like Porche, Mercedes, and Lexus.
