Christians, what's your opinion of this? Is it a con or legit in your eyes?|||Revivals ALL follow the same formula, whether it is John G lake forming the Methodists, or Charles Finney, or Jonathon Edwards or more recently John Arnot and now Todd Bently.....
They typically result in a new 'understanding' of scripture and God that leads to a new denomination, that grows a few generations old and then falls back into Country Club Christianity.
All of the historical revivals look and feel the same. People 'experiencing' physical outporings and getting 'right with god', healings although all unsubstantiated by science and doctors, though claims of substantiation are always made...etc..
I suggest emailing God.TV and Lakeland and asking for proof of these doctor's letters and medical reports, they claim. You will not recieve them.
I spoke with worker there a year ago, who was avid that it was all the real thing and this one was different. I asked for the medical proof he claimed to have. After a week, I emailed him again, and he was too busy to help me because of all the miracles that were happening at the time. I kept at him for about 6 months, when he promptly informed me that medical proof wasn't required and that his faith was good enough.....
That told me all I needed to know. Its all a well intentioned, well meaning fraud of hope.
